Record entry for NI Vet Nurse Awards

Sadly, the entry deadline for this year’s NI Vet Nurse of the Year Awards – sponsored by Agria Pet Insurance – has now passed but Louise Patterson, BVNA NI representative and Susie Hill of Agria are reporting record entries for 2020 across the competition.

There are more entries than ever before in 2020 for the Vet Nurse of the Year, Trainee Vet Nurse, Animal Nursing Assistant and Receptionist of the Year categories.

‘The new category of Charity Champions is also well supported in its first year,’ adds Susie. ‘And the quality of the nominations this year is fantastic for the unsung heroes of the veterinary world in Northern Ireland.’

With so many deserving entries, the difficult job of judging will now commence and we’re all looking forward to seeing the awards presented at the AVSPNI Small Animal Conference in April in the La Mon Hotel and Country Club.
