Parklands vets save swan snagged by fishing hook

Staff at Parklands Veterinary Group proved that nothing gets them in a flap after a member of the public and the USPCA brought a swan into its Dungannon branch to have a sharp fishing hook removed from above its beak.

A post of their facebook page said: “This lovely swan remained calm throughout and has now been released back into its natural habitat ”

The post was liked by more than 100 people, with followers praising the team’s professionalism.

Serene at all times but maybe with a little bit of vigorous paddling going on beneath the surface.
