Parklands celebrates Masie ‘ringing chemo bell’

Parklands Veterinary Group has shared pictures of one its favourite patients to celebrate her return to good health.
Dachshund Masie has been treated by the practice, whose main surgeries are in Cookstown and Dungannon, for eight months and on July 28  staff had a very special message to share on Facebook.
It read: “Chemotherapy Post ; Maisie 🌟
🔔 MAISIE HAS RANG HER CHEMO BELL TODAY 🔔
🐾Maisie has been getting on going treatment for Multicentric Lymphoma since November 2021.
💉 Canine lymphoma is similar to non-hodgkin’s lymphoma in people. It is so similar, that vets & human doctors use almost the same chemotherapy protocol to treat lymphoma.
“Maisie has officially finished her chemotherapy treatment with us, we wish her & family all the best!
“Our staff over the last 8 months have created a special bond with her and we will miss her terribly!❤️
