Webinars to help vets look after themselves and one another

A provider of health care plans and home delivery services for veterinary practices is to host two webinars aimed at helping veterinary surgeons look after themselves and one another as part its latest series.

Premier Vet Alliance’s webinars will be presented by Sian Tranter MRCVS, whose VetReflect business supports veterinary staff in resolving issues in their day-to-day working life, clinical or non-clinical, with support, guidance and direction.

The hour-long interactive sessions will see Sian will concentrate on providing practical advice to support clinicians and promote both personal and team development.

The first webinar on March 31, “Using Clinical Supervision – Looking After Ourselves”, will focus on how professionals can improve their job satisfaction and reduce the impact that work has on the rest of their lives, while the second on April 28 will focus on applying practical and relevant tools to get the best out of veterinary teams.

Each of the hour-long webinars are free and open to all clinics in the UK and US, with a requirement to pre-register.

Discussing the programme, Jo Wells, PVA’s business relationship manager, said: “After gaining positive feedback from delegates who attended our initial webinars last year, we decided to put together a full programme for 2022.

“We’ve concentrated on providing a blend of practical advice and insights, people management support and also some inspiring motivational ideas.

“Because we operate globally, we’ve engaged speakers from both sides of the Atlantic, which presents insights into alternative ways of working and thinking. We’ve also kept the webinars to just an hour in length, so they are time efficient.”
